• In case the download link is invalid, and the shared download option is turned on
• Or the QuickBooks is being run in the terminal service environment in the multi-user mode
• Also, if the user is using an outdated version of QuickBooks
• In case the user is not running the application as an admin
• Or if you are a windows vista user, and not logged in as windows admin
How to Fix QuickBooks Error 15102?
The user can get rid of this error, by verifying the mapped location is accurate. The steps to be followed are:
• Firstly, click on F2 and open product information window. The user will see the mapped location path, which he needs to note down
• After that visit the help menu and then click on update
• The next step is to authenticate the information in the download location, click on options tab
• If the shared download is set as yes then ensure that the drive in the download location has to be the same rive that is there in the product information window
• Or if the shared window is set to no, then make sure that the directory in the download location is also same as the one in QuickBooks installation
• Change the state of location, if incorrect
• And then if yes is selected in the shared download, then change it to and click on save
• Or else, make it yes and save
• Click on close tab
• And lastly, download the payroll tax table again
