The printer asks us to install the ink cartridges, open the ink cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to reach the ink access area.
Then remove the carriage insert take out the ink cartridge pack, look at the color in the cartridges and the slot to insert the ink cartridges correctly.
Before inserting, pull the orange tab around the cartridges, being careful not to touch the copper contacts that can damage the ink flow.
Then close the ink cartridge access door to the printer and touch OK on the printer screen. Now the printer asks you to install paper.
Slide the input tray and raise the output tray. Adjust the paper width guide to load new paper into the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer and touch OK on the printer screen.
Then slide the output tray for the printer to print the alignment page after aligning the print head.
Then open the scanner lid and position the bottom of the alignment page following the markings on the scanner lid to position the alignment page correctly.
Touch scan on the screen after scanning and aligning the print head and a success message will appear. If you do not receive it, visit 123.hp.com/setup 8610 to resolve the issue. |
