When you're unable to access the Gmail account from outlook application. You should check the mail settings on your device. most probably, something is wrong with the email account settings. so here are the guide to fix such problems.
1. First of all, you should check the internet connection on the device. make sure that the internet is working perfectly fine on your device.
2. Enable the less secure apps from the gmail account and make sure that it is not being blocked by the outlook application.
3. Remove the current Gmail account from the outlook application and then re-add them using the valid mail settings.
4. Delete the current outlook profile and then create a new one.
